What will you get and why?

16gb for me. 8gb x2 for just 50$

And also... if you buy 8gb version... you will only be able to use 6gb.

I'm going to wait a while,as talk of a 10" version w/possibly more features,is in the works.
But,if I opt for the NEXUS 7,I'd get the 16GB model,as just as you stated,it's only $50 more than the 8GB model .

Sure,it's right here @ PHANDROID NEWS,in an article from 6/29/12.

Was contemplating doing the same, but thought screw it, and will just buy that one when it comes out XD

It probably won't be out for some time, and I haven't a tablet already, so don't want to wait!

Have gone for the 16GB version (Which I think pretty much everyone will do!)

I can appreciate the sentiment, I just picked up the XYBOARD 10.1 a month ago.
I'm using the LAPDOCK less & the tablet is my go-to computing/entertainment device now.

With all things considered, the NEXUS 7 is the perfect device of choice to jump in to the tablet world.

If I get one it will be the 16Gb, but I'm going to try to really get into cloud storage, I must have about 10Gb across a couple of services

I'm going with the 16GB version. Since this will be a supplement to any iPad I currently own, I don't worry about space so much as I plan on using it as a consumption device (web browsing, YouTube, email, etc).

I went with the 8GB, because the $200 price point was what drew me in, and with shipping and tax it was already creeping towards $250, and would have been creeping towards $300 for the 16GB.

I was looking at either this or a Kindle Fire since I have a Prime account, and that was only 8GB, so I figured I can make use of Cloud services, and pick and choose what to store on it if I take it somewhere with no wi-fi.

I'll just get the 8gb version. I don't need much space, and I have more than enough space between dropbox, drive, and my PC's harddrive. The extra 8 gigs just isn't worth the money for me because I know I will never use it.

I went for the 8Gb version.

I worked on the basis that you can get enough stuff on there to last you long enough between wifi sessions to swap/replace content. I found an App that lets me download Youtube clips for offline viewing so I can replace the content doing that and downloading other stuff from Dropbox.

It was a very difficult decision but I ended up going with the 16GB.... For no other reason then all 3 generations of my iPads are all 16GB. It will be interesting to see how much space I end up using. We will all have to come back after we have had them for awhile to see how much space we all chew up on these non upgradable N7's...

I ordered the 16gb. I have a 16gb iPad 2 and still have plenty of space on it. I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus as well so I have gotten used to devices with no sd card slot and find that it's no big deal for me.

8 gig... Could barely swing that and I'm just gonna use it as a reader, email, and net surfer. Plus I have wifi 100% of my normal usable day..

just remember everyone getting 8gb, its more like 5.Xgb of usable space. i went with the 16 just in case. would rather be out $50 than storage space.

Went with the 16 cause I want to keep some music on it when I,m not in a wifi area.

This is the exact same reason I went with the 16GB too. I have roughly 9GB of music, so the 8GB definitely wouldnt have been an option. And between Dropbox, Google Drive, and my Thunderbolt with its 8GB internal + a 32GB microSD card, 16GB should be plenty for my needs. But I definitely would have been willing to pay more for 32GB.
