Am I to udnerstand that really the only reason for a 16GB would be if you plan on storing a larger amount of games, apps, music, pictures, etc? It still works by being able to pull, for instance, music and movies down from Google Cloud storage via Play Store account?
My wife uses Box, and looking to get her one of these...she has Google Apps acct for work, uses Box for all her files, and has a few movies here and there that she already rented via Play Store...therefore, no real need for extra 16GB if in fact you just want to use cloud storage?
Just wanted to make sure it works similar to how Amazon set up the Fire for customers (which my son has and loves).
I am considering one for myself, and we also use Box and I have a CRM SFDC that is all cloud based. I don't usually keep a lot of movies on it and most of what I listen to is via Spotify or using Amazon's MP3 player for my music purchased through them.
I try and keep my apps limited as well and rarely play games on it.
Thoughts?
Thanks
Sounds good, I got the 16gig because at work we're not able to connect to the WiFi systems there. So I store my movies on it. I keep all my music on Google Music and just stream through my phone.

Is there a micro USB mass storage we could plug in if we wanted to store music or pics??
Hence, I own a 105 GB Nexus 7 that only cost me $199.

Yes and no. I access my data from Google's servers on THREE devices. Tablets of varying storage capacities come and go. Google Drive will be my first choice until portable devices can be sold at reasonable prices with large storage options. By large, I mean AT LEAST 64 GB. I confess, 8 GB is too small, but so too is 16 GB. I will NEVER pay, as an example $829 for a 64 GB iPad 3 with LTE. However, I would pay $629 for such a device at that capacity. I would also gladly pay $300 for a 64 GB Nexus 7. Until then, it's the Google Drive option for me. Hopefully, someday in the near future I won't need the Google Drive option. BTW, Google Drive works flawlessly over wifi. Flawlessly.Sort of... at that argument, it's $259 for the 1st year, & $60/yr thereafter![]()
