The best camera in the world...

I have that on my phone, but I'm not familiar with the more in-depth color/gamma/etc "curves" and that makes me feel a little inadequate :o

There are a lot of articles on the curves and it's not a beginner's feature.

But here's a tip for your starting point.

The upper right corner of the line? Drag it along the top or right side, leave the line straight, to increase or decrease exposure. If you see something that you like that way add an adjustment just past the mid-point and give it a little up or down curve. If you see something that way that you like, go check out the many fine articles from a Google on "adjust photo curve."

Or, just go back to Snapseed and wiggle the sliders because it's faster, easier, more intuitive if you don't want to go pro and it just does a bang up job, seriously, for most anything you could want from a point and shoot. :)

A couple captures here. Including an unfortunate school acronym.

Another peaceful and quiet day in north central Wisconsin. I feel very fortunate to live here. :)

My in-laws came to visit. Having a sandwich before taking a pontoon boat ride.

Not bad for a phone. See the hummingbird in the orange flower just above the bottom horizontal post.

I would have cropped out that coke bottle, took away from pic.
Cropping would have not only eliminated the first thing you see, the coke bottle, but really brought out the flowers and the hummer.
This is what I'm talking about... I cropped and resized to 1K resolution. Another tip, when you post a full size pic like you did, anyone can steal it and use it however way they want and you'd never know. I only used it to show you what I was talking about.

Didn't have time to grab my Nikon, so I used my Galaxy S5 to take a shot I took from my bedroom balcony of downtown Tacoma's sunset tonight.

We went to an ice-cream tasting extravaganza yesterday and got some scoops from a local place called Milk Cult.
The flavors were pretty bizarre but delicious. The green one was my favorite, and aside from the black sesame seeds, I don't remember the flavors though it was pretty spicy. My wife loved the sweet corn one, in the foreground with cayenne sprinkled on top. :)

The app glitched and uploaded two of the same picture. Here's the unfortunate "Fredericks Academy Parent Support" sticker.

Love this shot from top of ferris wheel. Phone really surprised me with how well this one zooms without losing detail... (not sure that will translate well once attached, lol)

Is that Kings Island, NA?

Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville. My work (bank of Kentucky) helped fund their reopening so all employees and families got in free.

They were closed because apparently someone lost their legs on a coaster

I do live MUCH closer to kings Island though. You live around there?

They were closed because apparently someone lost their legs on a coaster

I'm surprised they closed for a coaster accident. Back in the stone age, ('70s, yeah I worked in the PR dept. :p) Heshey put in the first looping coaster on the East Coast (SooperDooperLooper ) and during a test run right after installation, one of the trains let go of the lift chain and the reverse brakes didn't catch. It rolled backwards and killed a maintenance worker. It delayed the opening of the coaster for a few weeks, but it didn't hurt the park much.

Actually, there were stories going around that the coaster was supposed to be haunted because of that, which I think helped it's attraction.

We go to cedar point about 2 times or so a summer
I still love the old coaster I grew up on
The blue streak :)
I've been on most of the newer ones
But some of them are... Like.... Wait!...whaaaat????
I think there have been a couple of decapitations through the years.. Tho

^^^Nice, I'm guessing minor league ball. That's a beautiful shot and beautiful park.

Got hooked up with some VIP tickets for free, have my oldest granddaughter on vacation with us - packed up, drove to Albuquerque to see... The Isotopes!

Yes, same as the Simpson's home team. :D

We finally had to leave, long drive home, but - they were winning when we left and both teams were playing pretty good ball.

And the temperature was perfect.

Just doesn't get any better. :)

PS - thanks for the kind words, but now that I see it on the mobile browser, pretty sure I went overboard on the Snapseed. (lol way sure :D) Meh - so what? I was there and mistakes and all, I got to share the moment with you, my buds. Originals or better edits on request, otherwise, the snaps stand as is.

I was just happy that I had the best camera in the world with me so I could share the time. :)
