I received our promotional marketing items and dummy phone (have two since the htc rep gave us one during our training a couple weeks ago) today from htc. Still haven't heard whether or not the 14th is officially official but I'm guessing it will be sometime next week because we're also supposed to be receiving our demo phone free from htc as well, so, we'll see.
I'll keep you guys posted on anything else of relevance and if anyone is in the area of my store stop by and check us out. I'd love to do whatever I can to gain your business!

I'm waiting for the ThunderBolt myself and i'll end up paying full retail since i want to get out of the second contract i have that is ending soon instead of using the upgrade. but anywho, as far as release dates does Verizon really communicate this info to its sales reps before the official announcements or is that false info?
also, the leaked documents that have said the T-bolt was delayed as well as the documents that indicate that the T-bolt also can do simultaneous data+voice over 3G, are they real? are they accessible on your Intranet?
sorry for the questions, i just want to see if the leaked info was real or not, I'm holding out for hope that this phone launches next week and that Verizon will make an announcement on Friday along with the press event to announce LTE pricing and the device pricing.
I went to a BB yesterday and didn't get any help, i was ignored and then i went to an HH Gregg and was very annoyed by the arrogance of the employee there, my friend and i asked them if they had any accessories for the T-bolt yet and they said they couldn't sell them yet and that they were sitting in the back but what really made me mad was how he answered the question regarding the delay, "ooo, sorry i know when its coming out but i can't say if its delayed or not" thats a bunch of bull and the fact it came from a freaking kid that looked like he could have still been in middle school made it that much more frustrating.
the unboxing video f the T-bolt from Wirefly shows the packaging, a black box with an inner box containing the color of what looks like pink close to a hot red. It seems to me this was planned for Valentines Day from the start and like i said above, i'm still holding out hope that it is still coming out next week.
also one more question since you got to use the real Thunderbolt, does it do landscape for the home screen? every video and post i've found says it does not and i'm trying to be optimistic about it just being locked since theres a widget plus a setting that can lock it to portrait or landscape, or so thats what the new Sense 2.0 lets you do anyway.
also, does the T-bolt feel like its metal around the kickstand area? the phone was supposed to using a unibody aluminum design like found on the Desire HD/Inspire 4G, but thankfully, HTC didn't use that design for the entire phone as i've read bad things about accessing the battery/microSD/SIM slot (which we'll have since its LTE of course)
I hope you can answer some of my questions...
