I got my case today (along with another brown box ;D) and it's pretty much identical to the KeysCase one mentioned above. Its a lot more rigid than I was expecting and has a little velcro flap that sits under the device to hold it in place. I've not tried it out properly yet, but it looks like it has all the correct holes cut out.

Not as much fun as I expect my N7 will be. :D
 
col, just stare at your case imagining you shiny new N7 in it. I don't have a case to stare at, just waiting for my account to be charged.:rolleyes:
 
That won't work. I've already started to talk to it. I think it's time we part company until the rest of it shows up.
 
Ordered a black TPU case from focalcase.com, they said it should ship by Monday and since its coming from China i won't get it forever but i'll post impressions when i get it.
 
I can tell you that KF cases aren't going to work. I tried the case from my KF and it didn't fit at all. The N7 is just a tad bit taller. I could've forced it in there, but the case would've blocked access to all the buttons. The power button and volume rocker on the N7 are on the right hand side while on the KF, the power is on the bottom.
 
Tad bit taller and possibly thicker.

My KF case works, but it doesn't close properly. It might be ok once the leather stretches a bit tho.
 
Received my Moko case from Amazon today.

The build quality is very good. Doesn't feel cheap. On the other hand, It doesn't feel like rich leather either.

A few rain drops on it. :D

It has some storage pockets. One thing I didn't think about, if you have something in those, when you close the cover those items will be sitting on the screen. The black flap you see has velcro to hold the N7 in the case after you fold it under the N7.

I don't really like the way it sits and the way it folds. It is not as stable as it could be. It should have just 3 folds, not 4.

Since I don't have my Nexus yet, I don't know how it fits. It will be ok for now, but I'll probably order a good 'smart' case when they start coming out. (At least until Apple sues)
 
That's similar to the case I have...only problem I have it that the back feels gorgeous and it's a shame to cover it.
 
I got a luvtab black nexus 7 genius stand/typing case from laptop kit on amazon UK for 13.89 including postage and the nexus 7 fits it perfect and it's also full leather which is a plus for that price

The KF is definitely thicker. No question. But if you've got a flap that velcros on one side couple with the N7 being taller that's not a huge issue. The biggest issue is access to the buttons.
 
Here's my KF case ($13.20 delivered):

As you can see in the first picture, it takes more than gravity for it to close. (I suspect that will improve in time):

Most are good reviews, the only problems are very spaced out. One had shipping issues, solved by Amazon; another had a power button issue, and one got the wrong color. Mostly they have rave reviews. I ordered one and I'll let you know.
