I like the looks of that one a lot, especially the hand strap which I have discovered (from trying to read in bed) that I desperately need to avoid accidentally turning pages just because I shift my grip a little :-).

I wish I could find a close up of those clips that hold the tablet in though. I wonder how well they work. I suppose if they are connected to a rigid frame they could be fine.

On my case they hold the tablet VERY firmly, it's not easy to get the tablet in and out. I like that they are clips and not a full bezel cover because there is no interference with the screen. It's also a minimal look. The cover clip holds it closed firmly but not too firmly.

Being left-handed, the strap is almost useless since I hold the N7 in my right hand. The cover clip provides some grip however.

My only issue is the buttons are a bit tough to press but it makes accidentally turning the tablet on almost impossible.

Do you know if this tape works? I bought these pads (4 x MAGNETS, SELF ADHESIVE, SQUARE, 19mm X 19mm | eBay) and they don't work. :(

I'm going to give that case a try. (pre-ordered)
I have noticed that with the case I have now the leather around the bezel is slightly intrusive when trying to tap at the edge of the screen.
The YooMee case is the same cool design I'm seeing modified with a magnet, but already has one installed. Very cool!

You guys are just encouraging my habits...lol.

Try flipping it over (use other side toward the case). You're using side/corner opposite the power button, right?

Otherwise your magnet may not be strong enough.

I know on the DroidX, the magnet was used with the docking station and put it into dock mode (landscape, with weather/clock).
 
Yeah, I tried it both ways but nothing. I've just thrown them into the draw and superglued the other magnet onto the case instead. Doesn't look all that good, but does the job.

Yeah, looks like you are right, and the Poetic one is cheaper too. Has anyone tried it out? My old Kindle Fire case works well with the N7, but I would also like one with a keyboard.

This looks like the nicest "bulky" case I've seen, for the cheapest price.

Does anybody know if ASUS has told anyone yet when they are releasing their coloured, slim cases? I haven't seen anything and I am getting impatient :p
 
I picked up a zip sleeve case made for a Kindle Fire (I like the irony). I like to use the Nexus 7 without a case, but I like to have something to keep it protected when I toss it in a backpack.

It fits perfectly.
