Any cover that has the exact fit like the official cover but with a cover that stays in place when it's closed?
 
Yeah I saw that but I meant like how the official one goes over the trim all around the unit not just the corners. The poetic one is nice though and was considering that if there's nothing else like the official with a cover that stays closed.
 
Ah, I see what you mean. Yeah, the top and bottom have some exposed space, but it does go all the way up the sides.
Part of the reason I don't like a lot of teh cases is because they ONLY cover the corners. That doesn't provide any distribution of force if it were dropped. I feel pretty safe in my peotic. I would try the Nilkin if it took less than a month to get to the states.
 
^ Thank you. That looks a little more suited to my needs, I'm looking for something to use on my lap. The KB's I've been looking at look as though they need something solid to lean on to work properly.

Just had a video chat with my mate that ordered the wireless keyboard. Very impressed with it. Pretty sturdy in the upright position and locks nicely as a screen protector. Only issue is he can't find a way to change the $ to £ as its an American keyboard. I'm sure there will be a way. Getting the eBay links sent through and will post them when I get them. Will be ordering after Christmas.

I have been searching high and low for a case for my new Nexus. I've checked out Office Depot, OfficeMax, Best Buy, WalMart, and Target. I've spent hours on Amazon, ordered two cases, returned one and am about to return the other.
This is what I want:
A cover that folds back all the way, easily, under the tablet
A hard shell at least for the back
Access to all ports (those universal cases cover the on/off switch with elastic)
A stand would be nice, but not essential.
Preferably some color choice
Suggestions? I saw the Poetic case and that might work. I am a teacher, though, and plan to use this case at work with kids, so I'd prefer something pretty tough.
Can anyone help?

Check out my post above yours on the blurex case. Sounds like everything your looking for except for color. Its leather covered

EDIT: Its on amazon for like 15 bucks so its pretty cheap too :)
 
I don't like how the blurex only covers the very corners of the tablet. As in if you drop it on its corner, there will be no distribution of force, therefore making a case not very protective.
I don't understand the Poetic-hating. I love mine. Had it for a couple weeks now, and it is holding together fine. No fraying. This thing is as good as I could've asked it to be.

Threw a couple decals on there and BAM. Awesomeness.

And I have dropped it on hard wood a couple times. No problems.

There's no Poetic hate from me! I love that it folds back flat. Amazon has several listed as "final version" because I guess some people had issues with the smart case turning off the Nexus when it was folded all the way back. Have you had that issue? If not, I'm going for it!
Also, you said you got the decals on Ebay. Are they any specific kinds of decals? What should I search for?

Lovely. Now the problem is that I can't get two-day shipping because it's a third-party seller through Amazon. I'm traveling next weekend and need a case. I don't think these are sold in stores. Rats.

good deal! I baby mine and they still cracked, so if you're hard on yours and they haven't, then that's the case for me. :o
 
I had purchased the MOKO case off of Amazon back in October.

The hand strap broke on it last night. I enjoyed it up until then. It comes with a lifetime warranty, so I'm going to see what that entails.

I'm still in the market for a better cover though.
