Root the chains are gone...I have rooted!!!

Just rooted yesterday with Unrevoked 3 and everything went well. I did not have to reformat my sd nor perform a data wipe..... I have downloaded SetCPU, Titanium Back Up, ScreenShot & last but not least WIFI Tether.... And I do have to admit that free wireless tethering is totally worth rooting for... Now I'm researching which rom to flash but in the mean time I want to flash the Netarchy kernel... Just had to come on here and make this great announcement and to thank all underground devs who put in tons of work for us android aficionados.... Once again thanks!
 
Congrats on setting your phone free! :)

Just a bit of information though, when you flash a rom, most include a kernel so you will have to reflash the kernel you decide to flash for netarchy.
 
I see... I'm just a little hesistant to flash a custom rom due to their instability.... Thanks for the heads up though I'll continue my search for a stable rom and I'll hold off on the kernel.....
 
Most of the Sense roms that are out(Fresh, Mikfroyo, Myns, Koni Elite, Kings) are all very stable and everything works. Most are based on the current release(3.70). They are all themed and have mods available for them.

Most AOSP roms are still considered betas and have a couple things not working yet(4g and HDMI) for the most part. Any questions, feel free to ask. Most on here are more than willing to help out if you need it.
