The Ever popular "I've Got Mine!" Thread.

Mine went through though it wouldn't update the PRL so I had no 3g just call. I did a soft reset and update the PRL so that worked. Have you tried doing a hard reset?

How do I do the soft reset... Though think they did that in the store... Is there any report that there are defective devices that won't activate? I I can't believe this! What horrible luck!

error code 407 after attempting the 5 times

Problem solved I would like to thank all of you at this forum for bringing thidnproblem to my attention... You have saved my ltevo! I I even told the person whom I chatted with to mention this forum when telling sprint this problem existing!

My gf said I looked like a mad scientist.. I don't have good service in my house so I went on the porch.. I was chatting with sprint on my laptop while staying up to date with the forum on my Toshiba thriv... Meanwhile my ltevo was plugged into the charger so I had to run an extention cord to it lol.... Hard work payed off.... This phone is fricking amazing!!!!

After hours of trying to activate.... Then being told I had a faulty device... Thanks to this amazing forum I was able to make aware to sprint that the meid numbers on the phone did not match the box.. Which fixed my problem and my ltevo Is now fully functional!!!! I can't say thanks enough to everyone I owe you one everyone!!!! Now to enjoy this amazing phone.... The people at radioshack would not stop saying how amazing it was.... I own the only phone that my store got in

Wooohooo

I'm all fixed now. I got lucky but my google contacts weren't syncing there was an error and I had deleted my contacts to start over. Luckily in my notifications it said you have too many contacts to delete are you sure you want to delete them and I chose no. So I am good to go and this phone is so so nice. OMG! I love it and I feel for these people still waiting. It's by far the absolute best phone I have ever had. I called my Sprint store this morning asking about screen protectors for my new EVO and she goes which EVO do you have? And I replied the new EVO 4G LTE and she was like what how did you get that? And I said Best Buy yesterday. The warehouse is here I would of thought my Sprint stores would of already had there's. But I love this phone.

I remember a mod (I think EarlyMon) saying don't let BB mess with your phone far as syncing!

So do to order issues somehow I got sent a second one today by accident...show no charges for it...what should I do

Thats entirely up to you my friend.

If your conscience tells you to send it back, you should notify Sprint and send it back. I believe thats the thing to do.

I believe giving it back is the only thing to do, it is the truthful and moral choice IMHO. :)

Both taken with the EVO...omg this camera I amazing its simply amazing!

After all of this I definitely don't think I should have to pay the activation fee.... If if wasn't for me realizing the numbers didn't match my phone still wouldn't be activated.... I think I have a valid argument

ummm, I would do the ethical thing... send it back! Call me crazy, but thats just me. lol

If you don't believe in karma; if you don't believe keeping something you didn't order is wrong; if you have no sense of right or wrong, keep it. If, however, you have a conscience; if you have morals; if you are honest, return it.

Me? As tempting as it would be to keep it, my Catholic guilt would get to me. I don't need to go to Hell for yet ANOTHER transgression! :p

The ONLY complaint I have about Sprint is one major frustration that I have always had--every single time I try to activate a phone to replace my current one (I keep the same number, too), I get an error message online telling me, "We're sorry, but your new phone requires you to change plans. Please contact Customer Care at...". What a crock of BS!

I even tried activating the phone via the phone itself. It took me through the steps; I input my Sprint PIN, user name, etc., then it takes me to a screen telling me that my device is incompatible with my current plan. So, like I have had to do the last 5 years or more, I am forced to call Sprint and have them activate it. Ridiculous.

i had to do that at best buy. the reason is an old code on the plan that is not compatible with the new devices. i suspect they should have this rectified by national launch.

similar issues when sprint launched vision back in the early 2000's.

If they haven't rectified it when I changed out a Blackberry Curve to the Blackberry Tour, then the Tour to an EVO, and now an EVO to an EVO LTE, they won't rectify it at all. It has been well over 5, maybe even 6, years that I've tried to activate online, and I have yet to be able to do it. I always must call them to activate.

Did you open the UPS box and verify the contents?
The free silicone case ships in a UPS box that is identical to the UPS box the phone shipped in. Just sayin'

Yep I got one phone Thursday and 2 cases and one phone yesterday. Called sprint in the daytime yesterday since shipping info looked like a 2ND phone was coming and rep told me that was impossible and went on to tell me how the first order was shown as canceled.

I still also show a one time charge on my credit card from may 7the but when the phone got delayed in customs and I tried to cancel (unsuccessfully) the charge got refunded to my sprint account and that credit is still there.

Some very strange stuff huh?
