Yeah there's no way to root from the handset.

PC is the only option so I posted the link anyways.

Not sure if this will work but no harm in trying..unroot then reroot.. worked for one of my customers...

make sure you leave it plugged in after the root until it boots up to your home screen..

It came back when I flashed gingersteem rom
