Another stupid question ... Any way to remove/ hide the Google search bar from the top of the home screens? Thanks

Press and hold it until the trash can appears and then drag and drop? Worked OK for me.

Didn't work for me. Wasn't sure if there was a weird setting or something I was missing. I've noticed some of the stuff on this phone (while good) is hardly intuitive...

The name of the app is " Google Search "
Just disable it in " Manage Apps "

Also, try a different launcher. Nova is the one I personally use. Don't have this phone, just scoping out this forum. The old commando was great for me.

adw launcher is another good one to use it gives you the option to use the google bar or not and it is free on play store. I use next launcher it works great on this phone it depends on your needs or how many options you want in a launcher.
