Root The Leaked ICS Rom Link Is Down

And I thought I was the one that kept starting Crap!

I know I have a big mouth, but I really do not mean to piss people off, I do have a really bad memory, and try to put things like "(I think)" when I don't really remember details, but sometimes my brain things it is passing on correct info to my mouth/fingers, only it is not. I have not had my head checked out, but it gets pretty bad sometimes. I often forget "words" but remember their definitions, or remember the word but no matter how hard I try, I cannot say it.

Anyway...

You might want to jump in the irc channel and ask about the naming conventions, I think the guys there can give you a break down on how since of the file names and folder names compare to other android Roms. That had been the hardest part with porting and bin kangs (hahaha, Swype tried to put "Laden" after "bin" instead of "kangs"... developers can be so funny sometimes)

Hopefully with an "LG Spectrum II" on its way, (supposedly, i am still not sure it is a spectrum...) we will get the kernel source after ICS drops.

I am also a big fan of ellipses, commas, and parenthesis (if you have not noticed).

Look forward to anything you can do to grow our Rom base!

I wasn't meaning to start anything.. Sorry if I did kinda in a bad mood today :\ Not the best day for me and I'll check it out thanks for the help

About the battery life
I totally recommend the Verizon extended battery, does much better than standard.

For even higher level of usage the Mugen battery is a go to.

Happy ROMing :)

I will be picking one of these up upon the arrival of my Spec :D

Yeah the battery dies super quick but then again everytime I task kill its at least 5 or more apps running ( AKA bloatware thank you verizon ) Lol wont stop me from enjoying this phone! Its fantastic and I'll look into getting a extended battery thanks :)

You can pick up batteries and chargers for pennies here ... but w/my discount at VZW I get most of my stuff there. lg spectrum battery charger | eBay

Last week I bought 2 regular batteries for $19 ea. and a charging dock w/reg battery for $40 at my local VZW store...I get 20% off everything as well as free next day shipping being a UPS employee. I bought an extended battery several months ago from VZW and it lasts a lot longer but I can't stand it, its bulky as hell and I don't like having to keep up with the XL battery cover. I'm good with same sized batteries and 1 cover.

Task killers are not needed. PERIOD, you're just causing the crap to start again, thus draining more battery.

Didn't know that, if that's the case I'll take it off, I use it for killing games off my phone. The ones that take a lot of ram and cpu up.

Well there is a time when they can be used for good. one example is when I have switched between several different launchers and after I've settled on one to my liking and the others are sitting in the background taking tons of ram because they are still loaded as if I'm using them, I then kill them to free up the ram. They may restart as a background service but will take up far less ram.

There are other times I will use one as well but I'm Swyping all this on my phone and getting a little tired.
