The Love & Hate on this phone

when I 1st got this phone
I like it , the more I see/longer I have it
the more I hate this phone LoL
the problem daily , weekly , i had to deal with
Pain in the @$$ ,
from 1x disapparing so i couldnt get online
to not able to connect to my own wifi
to the stupid cover * which i finally took out *
( took me 15 min on the bus to work unable to take the cover out )
it was this close going out the bus window
to app problem , problem problem problem .... alway something new
and the force close , Lag , hang Arrrrrrr..........
piss me off
this is the 1st phone i had soo much problem
infact its the only phone I had problem with lol
really thinking about selling it , had it less then 2 month
will be 2 months in april 3nd

thinking about just going back to my Samsung Finess Smartphone insist
even though , i wont have any andriod app
but save me the headache

nope im still waiting for 2.2 to come out
Icarus dont support 2,2 andriod app
i might sell it
when my bill cycle end on the 2nd which make it 2 months
that i own the phone
and go back to my samsung finess
and wait and see what new phone is coming out for metro
 
Theres not really that many apps that require 2.2. Still, metro has announced it so you should get it soon.

yeah i know but therre are 2 app that i want already required 2.2 LoL
thinking about asking a friend to pick me up an asian phone
and see if metro can flash it
they can flash a HTC that part i know for sure lol
some mex dude from work bought a sprint phone
and flash it at metro lol
$ 50 buck wont be a bad price to sell it huh ?

putting the froyo+ rom on my phone now.... need mms so probably not for long.

what 2.2 apps? i'll test them for you.

Yeah you can do that, but you'll probably have more problems with a flashed phone than you do now. Plus we will miss your poemish writing round here lol.

only thing is you want get 3g....
 
I see a lot of whining... You should have known, at the price of the phone, that it wouldn't be a Motorola Droid X... That is the best droid I have ever touched! Amazing phones. But yeah, you can't buy an orange, and expect it to be a peach when you get home.
 
When you buy a phone, Always do your research. You won't be disappointed if you already know what you are getting into. I've installed Icarus 1.1. My phone is running a theme from Metamorph, I've got all the apps I can use. I don't have any problems (Rare FC, Hardly any lag, etc), I think if you want a better phone, Go get it. I'm happy with what I have, I knew what I was getting when I got it. Life can be simple if you make it simple. ^.^

hey, be cool. She is a nice lady and she has had a lot of problems. No, you can't expect it to be a top of the line phone, but you should be able to expect it to function properly.

I had many phones in the pass ,
Idk about Droid X , but I had play with HTC , iphone 1,2,3
beside the iphone ( i still have 3)
I got metro cuz I was running 300 + on my bill
thats from txt & data LoL
for 5 months LoL
parent didnt like that at all
I personally like Samsang Phone
this is the only phone I had problem with
in fact , I bought the Sansumg Indulge
but hate the battery life on it
( I had to carry the charger with me for the frist time)
then was looking at the LG , I didnt like the Look
so my only other chose was Huawei
I like the Craft too
but if I were gonna get that ,
mind as well stick with my Samsung Finess
I think this phone just dont like me LoL
in fact if metro got the flash for the Kyocera Echo
when its out for sale
I were Love to get my hand on that one LoL
btw when I get a Phone
I pick look over matter LoL
also , most of my problems are fixed
or just need to restart to fix
but like I said , The Love & Hate on this Phone LoL

Woo Hoo ...
Sprint and Kyocera have announced the release date for the Kyocera Echo, the first 3D phone. Staring this April 17th, you can buy the Echo for $200 with a 2 year contract from Sprint.
Thus far, Kyocera has not released any info about other carrier options. However, the company didn't state that the phone will be exclusive to the Sprint network. Only time will tell if it will be offered on additional networks. You can pre-order the phone starting on March 26th.
This will be the Reason Im Leaving Huawei LoL

You will be able to get 2.2 apps with the update, he just means you can't get them now (stock), so you might as well get icarus until the update gets here.

I am in total agreement. This has been a pet peeve of mine not just here but on many forums. When my wife bought me the Ascend, I went online and read a lot about it so that I understood its strengths and weaknesses. It only runs at 600 Mhz and doesn't have a lot of memory so it will not run like a Droid X or a Thunderbolt and, quite simply, people need to stop expecting it to.

I had to deal with , so until u can name me a Phone
Without any Problem at all , I'll be more then happy
even if its not a Metro Phone
and be able to be flash by metro
but I can truely say ,
I Never had a problem with my iphone 3
and yes I had 2 phones

P.S ppl r starting to get on my nerves
with the whining

I understand but I haven't had a single one of those problems with my Ascend. Other than sometimes being a little laggy, it runs very well: very few FCs, apps working fine, etc. Also, if I was having those kinds of issues, I'd be taking the phone back to the Cricket/Metro PCS store and talking to a representative. I'm not the sort to complain about something; I would do something to fix the problem.
