Just a quick question. I was wondering if you could top up a Google checkout account instead of assigning a card to it. My parents aren't that keen on letting me have a free roam on their bank account.

Your best bet is to buy a prepaid visa card, one that's not linked to a bank account but you can top up, eg http://www.visaeurope.com/en/cardholders/prepaid/youth_cards.aspx.. then you can link this to your Google account
