The most expensive Android phone.

That's nothing new for Vertu. Their phones have always lagged behind, as well as been very much luxury items. Just like with Rolex watches.

You can tell they're no longer owned by Nokia, because it's Android and not Windows Phone.

Things that never change with Vertu:

* always overpriced
* always out of date
* always ugly as sin

I reckon the ugliness must be part of the statement somehow, as it can't be accidental, but never quite worked out why "I've got money but not taste" would be a selling point.

Someone kept talking about a 24hr "concierge" service it offers and that's what part of the price tag includes. Couldn't find any info about it though.

It actually comes with ICS and apparently people are buying them: the company is growing rapidly. Apparently, a lot of people do have more money than sense.

Some people just love to flaunt how rich they are to make themselves feel superior to everyone else. This device is perfect for them. So now when an apple lover says only poor people buy androids, we can rebut with this device :D

It goes along with buying a bugatti...but at least ur new dumptruck has performance in mind, when u never go the 250+ mph...,

That's exactly what it is, you can't mistake it for anything else. It shouts "I've made it! I'm rich! I can afford it!" :rolleyes: Vertu's largest market is Chinese nouveau riche. They love to brand whore with Rolex or Patek Philippe watches, Kiton or Armani suits, LV bags, Montblanc pens, Vertu or GoldVish cell-phones.

Vertu did have a problem with been out of date for a while, all their phones until the Ti were Symbian.

It's to book hotels, flights, restaurants, limos, hookers, etc, 24/7, wherever you are. It's included in the price of the phone, all part of the luxury service.
