Help The most recent update

I am rooted and during the latest OTA (I guess 2.2.1 or whatever) I received the download but it will not install and keeps popping up to install all of the time. Any way to get rid of it?

I haven't heard of many advantages to the new update but if it's worth it should I just factory reset (I hate to lose my apps though) and then update and then root again?

What rom are you running (if any)?
if you aren't running a custom rom, just download and flash this file in recovery.

I like HTC Sense though. Don't want to lose it I just want the freaking update to either work or go away. Will I lose sense with this?

So I used Titanium Backup to backup my files. Should a hard reset and then the update and then rooting again help? Thanks.

I'm having the same problem. I rooted, then unrooted back to standard 2.2 and can't get the update to install. I don't necessarily care about the update since it does nothing but add more bloatware and cause problems, but the notification is getting really annoying.

There's a few ways to stop the nag. I edited the build.prop file as described here:
