Root The new modem file.

I am still on the DI18 kernel, can I flash the newest modem.bin file? And if I can, do I just put it in the phone section of odin, or does it go into the pda section? Right now I am on the baked snack kernel, but thinking about flashing it back, but want to see if the new modem works better so I can limit my flashes.

if you are planning on flashing a froyo rom i used odin to install new modem and pit you can get the modem and pit from xda website and i pretty sure I saw it on a few blogs on this site
