Help The new update from tmobile

Would you suggest that I download the new OTA "software update" and "device management update" from TMobile? Has anyone else updated their phone yet and did it work ok? If I don't want to download the update, how do you make it go away?

The last one I saw caused no harm. Here's what it was for according to Android Central; The T-Mobile version of the Galaxy SII (S2) is receiving an update today, either via OTA or Samsung Kies, that keeps the device on Android 4.0.4 but brings a few needed fixes. The update, which can bring you to baseband version T989UVLI1 or T989UVLH1, is just 11MB when downloaded OTA and has a few fixes on board. Apparently a Qualcomm fix is included, along with other security enhancements and Vlingo S Voice improvements.

This came out around the end of January. I haven't gotten an Over the Air update recently. Android Police has more details here. My kernel updated to UVL14 not 11 like Android Central reported. It really didn't change much but it did get me curious to try out the voice typing stuff with the keyboard. It worked flawlessly.
