The new update

Hey guys, just got informed by SE about the new update being available.
I went to back up and restore.
Done that.
Followed the on screen instructions and it did nothing. I tried it multiple times and it still hasn't worked.
All my things have gone from my phone.
I go to back up and restore and there is nothing there.
Any idea how to get everything back and how to update it as well?
I had the problem with updating it to 2.1 before. The instuctions given by SE are wrong and I had to do something different for the update to work. Is it the same this time.

Are you using Stock SE SW? What SW version are you using when u got the update notifications?

is it 2.1.1.A.0.6?

im using that SW right now, and there's no update here yet, Im from Philippines
 
I'l be honest I don't have a clue what a SW is. But I have got the update to work finally after doing something different to what Sony Ericsson tells you.
However I have had to download everything for my phone again which was rather annoying.
