The Note and The ICS..

[Yarrakid]

Hi

Just read on the digital spy web site the ICS has been slated for release now, although the article is not specific on the date of said release. I am supposing since they are quoting from Samsung themselves it must be pretty soon. Although this seems to contradict the article about it not being released until Q2. Does anyone have any further news on this ??. Also as a side. Kies seems also to have been updated, I am connecting straight away which never happened also the backup is working again was an issue with me at least. So a step forward today hopefully a sprint for ICS.

Regards
Simon

Apparently they are rolling out ICS for the Galaxy SII and the Note country by country starting in Europe. Some speculate that it may take to Mid-April before we see light of ICS here in the US.

What I read today from their facebook posting/youtube video was Q2, which could be April, May or June. I'm hoping it will be April though, obviously.

So, if we have the international unlocked version of the phone - do we get the update directly from Samsung?

I don't have a data plan on my phone. I only use wi-fi.

So would i get it through the phones 'software update' page?

Or from the Kies software on my Mac?
