I'm getting the above message with a force close button every time I tap Settings/Wireless & networks/Mobile networks-set options for roaming networks. Everything else works fine, but it bothers me. Not sure how long it has been going on though.

I'm running Virtuous 3.2 with klittle's mods and the Ubuntu font pack. Had not restored any system data when I put it on there (from an old nandroid, after a full wipe).

I've tried rebooting, disabling DroidWall (in case I was stopping something essential) and doing the *228 thing to update roaming. Nothing has helped.

Any suggestions before I start going through my old nandroids in hopes of finding a good one? Or maybe I should just reflash Virtuous...

This happened to me when I blocked upcoming OTA's. I had to change the name of a folder and got the wrong directions telling me I had to change both folder names when I only shouldve changed one. once I changed back the fc's stopped.

system/etc/security then changed otacerts.zip to otacerts.zip.bak
not supposed to change the cacerts.bks file name.
maybe the ROM u flashed changed this or it could be something totally different. good luck when this was happening to me it was frustrating.

Hmm, Virtuous doesn't get update notifications (it's based on the latest update anyway IIRC), and I haven't changed any folder names that I can recall...

I think it's the klittle mod. I just did a full wipe and reflash of Virtuous 3.2, after which the problem had disappeared. Then I flashed the Ubuntu font pack and the klittle mod, and suddenly the problem was back. I've been using Ubuntu for quite a while with no problem, but had just started using the klittle mod recently. So I think it is the mod that is causing this issue (or maybe it doesn't play well with the font).

Drat, I really liked those pulldown toggles and notification bar icons, too. :(

Edited to add: Further troubleshooting confirmed that the problem begins when I flash the notification bar mod and has nothing to do with flashing a font.
