Help "The process com.android.phone has stopped."

My S3 has been working flawlessly since I got it a few weeks ago but yesterday I got a notification about a new software update so I installed it. Since then whenever receiving a call my screen goes black, the phone freezes and I can't answer the call. I then get a message saying: "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped."

Couldn't find any info on the forums, can anyone offer any insight?

Please could you try this:

Settings > Applications manager > ALL > Phone > Clear data

Dont worry, you wont lose any contacts or call logs. They're kept in separate databases.

You may lose some specific phone app settings, but that would be nothing really.

Same Problem here. I updated to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean [XWLS8] and I am seeing this issue every few minutes. The phone keeps restarting the process and the call drops every 2 minutes.

This problem is killing me. Factory reset and app data clean is done but still the problem exists.

Help please....
