The Samsung Galaxy S could Easily be One of The Best Phones You Can Buy

I would definitely consider one of these phones if it came to Verizon. I don't want to switch carriers because my coverage is good here. I don't like HTC phones or Sense UI and I refuse to buy another Motorola thanks to their locked bootloaders, so Samsung is starting to look like a viable option to me. I was never too keen on buying Samsung phones in the past, but if a variant of this pops up on the Verizon network and there is a good root/ROM community, I might just try it out.

There has already been one announced for verizon, just no official release date has been set. I could easily see there being a big developement community the way samsung is distributing this phone everywhere.

This phone can rule but first they have got to fix these bugs. Ive owned the Galaxy s for two weeks now and sadly my iphone 3g kills it in speed. The phone lags. When I touch my screen Im used to getting a immediate response. My screen should not go black nor should it freeze up (lag) when doing simple tasks. They need to speed the update up. It should be first priority. If and when the bugs are fixed then this phone will rule.
