Woke up with some pain this morning, but during the day I started to feel much better.
Where I am, bloodletting is considered a recognised medical treatment, for a variety of ailments. As valid as Chinese or Western medicine and treatments. I've got some pictures of it, but might be a bit gross to post on here. One of the largest hospitals in the city(Xilinhot Mongolian City Hospital) is totally about Mongolian remedies, medicines and treatment. However I'm just going stay with the medications that was prescribed on Friday..

My mother-in-law is very old school European and a big believer in natural remedies. I have no problem drinking odd "teas" or rubbing raw garlic on my skin, but I'll still want to be taking antibiotics and getting that MRI. I might draw the line at bloodletting, though.

It's a grand distinction, to be sure, similar to certain attitudes being referred to "American" which could be anything from Santiago to Alberta.

Lol. Their idea of exotic is the most dark skinned local they can find.
