Ahhh, enjoying work, eh?
While there's obviously some aspects of my job I don't care for, making the best bread in DC (I seriously mean this!) is incredibly rewarding. While our restaurant is not cheap, the entire team behind it is 1000% in ensuring the guest has the best time possible.
Did I mention the bread basket is the first thing every table gets?
But yeah, there's certainly different philosophies. I've had many a convo with my wife about this. For some, a job is an income where life fulfillment is outside of work (traveling, spending time with friends, hobbies, etc). But, IMO, work consumes such a large portion of your time that I think it SHOULD be something that you really enjoy and find it rewarding.
