Thanks Wynd. Not going to be seeing the sun anytime soon. Bread, you should be getting rain. We're getting 6".

Yeah, the forecast is for a mix but it'll likely be just rain. I hope it's not too heavy since we'll be walking around a bit. And, Santa's costume is not built for the rain. ;)

Santa, I want a boyfriend :p

I was up at 5:00. Dog's fed and walked by 6:00. Coffee made, dishes done, forums browsed ... all before the Mrs. woke up.

Looks like we're spoiling them bread. ;)

I agree, BabyBlues. Insanity out there. Which is why I'm hoping to stay home.

In the meantime, I think I'm doing it backwards. Bf came up this weekend, and he's still sleeping!

Most of the locals here aren't too bad driving in the snow because it's such a common occurrence. It's the "outsiders" that cause all the issues. Though it is annoying seeing those driving full sized SUV's or pickup trucks driving way to fast thinking that their AWD makes them invincible to the weather.

Makes people act crazier than normal.

MMMmmmmMMMMmmmmmmmpossible. You can't get any crazier than normal.

I do have a theory about blonds ... the light hair acts as fiber optic cable and channels UV rays directly into the cranium. It explains my loss of memory and confusion since my hair started turning white. :D

We had it freeze here one year bad enough that the bridge just south of where I was working at the news paper as a Kelly temporary services employee, iced over. I was one of the few who didn't have vehicle problems and didn't slide on the bridge.

The others at the paper though I was crazy when I parked with the front of my vehicle right against the building, and went out during break and ran the vehicle. At the end of our shift (6:am), my vehicle started right up while half of the others wouldn't. I waited for those that could get going did leave and as I passed over the bridge I noticed three of them in the ditch just the other side of the bridge. Luckily they all had just slid off the road and didn't actually hit anything.
