The Tablet Tavern

I haven't seen a mini in the wild yet. I did see one in an apple store at the mall, though and I wasn't impressed. It's still the same old Apple that looks like it hasn't been updated in years.

From what I understand, its a shrunk down iPad 2. Right now, I am just entertaining the idea. I did run across something really cool and I am pretty sure you can't do with android and that is run a guitar through it.

I kind of want something that I can leave "as is" for a change. Time to whip out the paper and make a pros and cons list :)

I believe she has it cause she hasn't taken any pics. :D
Was hard for me to post pics when I came in the door with mine. I was at the store 2 hrs before opening and was sleepy as heck when I got home. That didn't stop me from playing with it though.

i'm just sort of miffed that TW keeps crashing on me. I was considering using a launcher, but i don't want to lose the s-pen functions

it's not quite as sensitive as i would like. then again, i'm quite of terrified of pressing too hard on the screen without a screen protector yet

Wyn since you just got it and TW keeps crashing, do a factory reset. Takes less than 5 min and will clear any bugs that came with the phone. Did you already set it up?

If you go with another launcher you won't loose any s-pen functionality.

yeah, i already set it up and stuff :(

i'm confused. mobile data = 3g? because there's a separate toggle for wifi

That's right, 3G is considered mobile data. For most of us, Wi-Fi is something that we can be out of range of after less than a minute's walk. 3G (or "4G") is intended to be mobile like "you can still use it while you're driving a hundred miles away from home". Just don't try that while you're behind the wheel! :)
