The only really bother me when I hear them on multiple sides of my yard. That means I'm their prey.:afraid:

we get bobcats and bears up here in the mountains. at least they're more noticeable. LOL Oh, and turkey and deer and whatever, but those don't bother me. HUGS to all who are having bad days. mine is significantly better than the past few just for the simple reason that I'm not being pulled in a million different directions!

We got trick-or-treater's tonight and tomorrow. Somewhere along the line some frikken genius on the town council decided one night wasn't enough. Probably the same guy who started Christmas advertising on Labor Day.

I'm locking the door, turning out the lights and watching game 6 of the Series. Let the little brats buy their own $%^$%@ candy.

Or, I could be really mean and hand out boxes of raisins and toothbrushes.

Oh, you mean ol' grumbler! Don't you dare!

You're getting T/Trs' already?!
And yeah, going to try and catch some of the game tonight myself. :)
Thankfully I'm in an apartment building so no problem with those kids. :p

Luna, whatever you do is bound to be better than the woman handing out "your child is obese" letters! Did you guys see that one's circulating on fb.

Oh I'd be looking for something evil to do if we had two nights of Trick or Treat. There is no need except for the freeloading kids to get more candy that the parents won't let them eat. Now what to do...

^^^that works.

Seriously, why do you need two nights. We get 2 hours and we are done in about 45 minutes. By then the little kids are done and they have more candy than they will be allowed to eat.:dontknow:

They'd end up throwing the fruit away, or worse, at our cars. Every since the food tampering incidents in the 80's and 90's everything must be factory packaged.

It started about 10 years ago when the trend was to hold big neighborhood parties in a gymnasium rather than ask the kids to risk their safety by wandering around at night. There was an outcry from families who wanted to do both so the party was on the night before and then regular trick-or-treat on Halloween. Somehow it just became two nights.

We don't get trick-or-treat happening in my neighborhood, but then we all have this long driveways that kids don't like walking down, and there is not many houses here. I have a big yard I may have to decorate it up one year with cool stuff and fog machines..

I am right down the road from a farm that runs a corn maze each year though :)

I don't even get nervous around the coyotes now. It's when you see that really big "coyote" that you describe and show pictures of the paw prints to wildlife and they tell you it was a wolf.

A month ago I went into one of our shelters and a coyote was in there laying down getting out of the rain. I said, "Out." He got up, stretched for a few, hung his head and walked away. They're so smart it's ridiculous.
