Anyone here still using 2012 nexus 7? Would you consider upgrading or are you happy with it?

Have it, don't really use it. :o
It's solid, but with the latest problems with memory, not sure I'd recommend it. Depending on your usage though. If you're just looking for something for light duty, it's pretty good. For the $100 you've been quoted, that's a good deal.
(and yeah, I saw your thread in the N7 forum ;))

It's more like I'm tempted because of the price. Still waiting for the new n10 though. If it's really nice I might just get a wireless keyboard instead of a chromebook.

I just wish they'd announce it already:banghead:

And after the N10 there will be another one, and another one.
Just decide when you will decide to purchase a device, and go for it ;)

The next N10, if there is one, will maintain a premium price tag unlike the N7. After getting a keyboard, you're looking around $500+. I'd just get a full blown laptop at that point.

I like my Nexus 7 (2012) I've never had a problem with it. Granted I don't play games with it and that its not my main source of entertainment other wise I might notice some of those "Memory problems" that others have announced. It works great for Skype, Facebook, and of course the Forums very on app.

So a chromebook....hmmm....I wish I could try both devices irl. I also like deliberating lol

Load up Chrome browser -> Chrome OS. :)
It does really get weekly updates though which is nice. Once the new HP one is out, I'd check it out. Definitely looks worth the higher price tag than Samsung's.

Look at it this way. Buy what ever will work for you, confident in the knowledge that it will be obsolete some months later when the next thing comes along. If you keep waiting for what's coming out, you'll never get anything...
