Anyone know how to change the format that the numbers appear as
Im in aus and our mobile standard is xxxx-xxx-xxx so when calling numbers they look really odd.
 
Does anyone have battery issues with SenseHero 2.2? as my battery won't last 12hours with it, But with Villain 5.5.0 i would get near enough a day & 1/2 out of it?

No my battery time is comparable to Villain and to MoDaCo. I would suggest wiping your battery stats (you can do this within Amon Ra recovery). First drain the battery till the phone turns off, then boot into recovery (plug it in if you can't). Wipe your battery stats, then let the phone completely charge.
 
thanks Nova, i'll give that a go tonight. I really lilke Sense 2.2 & i'd like to keep it but if i can't get it to last as long or at least a day then i'm gonna have to get rid of it. :( i'll give your tip a try though :D
 
I am lasting about a day, only a little bit worse than MoDaCo 3.2 rom.
That is with mobile data on the whole time.
 
I've noticed a strange behaviour with mine on 5.4. When I first installed it I was getting battery life fairly close to the original 1.5 ROM, but then I've been away for a week (so I turned off all data options because it'd cost me a fortune). Since being back in the UK I'm now getting terrible battery consumption.

Watching the phone it looks like something is talking over the data connection every few minutes which I don't recall seeing before. I'm wondering if something has gone 'rogue' after being out of contact for a while?

Are there any apps that can log what data connections are active, how long for etc and by which applications?
 
Another issue i've noticed with SenseHero 2.2 is that it freezes up completely if i leave the phone alone for long periods of time. Now i have a feeling as no one else appears to have encountered this issue with this rom that it may be an app i'm running which is causing this to happen.

Apps i'm using :- JuiceDefender, JuicePlotter, OverclockWidget (to underclock when screen not being used).

Ahh that is interesting. I've tried a few 2.1 ROMS, liked them but couldn't cope with the awful battery life so I have always gone back to Modaco 3.2.

Perhaps I'll try the wiping battery stats when Ive drained the battery and try again

You should do the battery stat wipe after changing the ROM though.

I can hear that, it sounds like something is vibrating really bad really loud and making a static sound
im thinking i might swap back to MoDaCo 3.2 for a while, i really do like goggles and such but i just dont have a real use for it

ive now noticed the awful batt life with sence 2.2 but out of the roms ive tried, ive no issue at all...runs super fast & ive not had 1 error msg yet...i wonder if i should try 5.5 cus 5.4 & 5.3 were terrible...

Personally i really like Villain 5.5.0, i've had issues with SenseHero 2.2 but tbh so far today said fault hasn't reoccurred. I think it might have been an issue with an app i've had running.
Though battery doesn't seem to be as good as Villain 5.5.0, but again that may be down to certain settings. Other then said issue & battery, i prefer SenseHero 2.2 as like everyone else has said, its alot more responsive then any other rom i've used & that includes vanilla roms.
 
tried 2.1 2.2 5.4 and settled for 3.2 , want the others but battery and other issues ruin it , so anyone else reckon best wait for htc 2.1 ?
 
well i think tonight i'll be binning Sensehero 2.2, i can't text or call at all. I get every text bounced back to me, full signal.
 
Scrap that, tried reflashing, exactly the same, so i put my sim in my 5800 & it looks like O2 issues. Thank fudge for that.
 
Hi all. Complete noobie to this but have succesfully managed to put sense 2.2 on my phone. Also ran the apps2sd patch and seems to be working. Just one question on this. I know it puts the apps on to my SD card. Does it put it in the 512mb partition I set up on the card as part of the install? If so how do I tell how much of this space is being used. Just so I know when I am near my limit?
