The Ultimate Text Entering App.

When I first got my DHD I wanted to get Swype because I'd heard so many good things about it, at the time though the beta was closed (open atm though) didn't know of the Swyp-esqu apps that are/were about, seems there are a few that are using the same approach. But anyway, I accidently came accross Swiftkey, and LOVED it. The predictive word and keyboard style made my texting seem lightning quick. Brilliant, love the way it instantly learnt all my used words and predicted (to a point) when I was going to use them. I actually had a race with a guy running Swype and swept the floor with him with my speed. What I didn't tell him though was, that I was lucky, that the text we were copying was fortunately easily picked up by swiftkey as pretty standard talk. If it had been a bit more random I have no doubt that his speedy swyping would of blown me away.

Anyway, when the beta re-opened I decided to give it a go, and again I loved/love it.

Now what I'm thinking, is that both Swiftkey and Swype COULD be topped. If one or the other were to combine the others method, then the results would be astonishing.

Swyping with the next word being predicted.

Brilliant!

You heard it here first ;)
