The wait. . . The wait is killing me!

Mine too! It had better not be 8 PM!

Good news is that I got my Flexible Glass screen protector in the mail TODAY. All the pieces are in place: 64GB card, screen protector, and S-view cover.

All I need now is the stinkin' PHONE :p
 
...and I remembered why it's worth every penny to never set foot in the VZW corporate stores. Just to pick up a "in store pickup" phone takes at least 30 minutes. With an empty store. All the guy needed to do was scan the phone, validate my ID, and swipe my credit card. I didn't even bother turning the phone on in the store since I needed my old phone/apps until I got back into the office.

*sigh*

Oh well, got a new phone and yet another reminder to never go into the store...

Well, by tomorrow all us Verizon folks will have our phones, the "killer" wait will be over, and this thread will close. It will still be here so anyone can relive the tension, the drama, the excitement... but there will be no reason to keep it open.

Delivered!!! But unfortunately I need to run off to work before I get a chance to play with it tonight. Home button is rock solid on my black version, yayyyyy. :-D
 
So I walk outside just in time to see the FedEx truck drive away. I look at my tracking. Wrong address it says. So I call. Nope they have the right address. This is why I do not use FedEx
 
My note 3 in black is coming this afternoon I will be home to receive it from FedEx driver. The micro Sim I have in my note 2 is an older style microSim .. not sure if it even has NFC capabilities, I understand the new ones do.. That Verizon Sims got an upgrade? My question is should i activate my note 3 with the new SIM card or should I use the old one in my note 2. How hard is it to do if I was to activate with the new SIM card. Do I have to call Verizon? I'm thinking I would. Not sure what the big deal would be I guess if I just use my old one to activate it. Just want to make this as easy as quick as possible. Thank you enjoy everybody can't wait for mine.

What memory card did you purchase and from where? I will need to order me one.
 
I mean seriously? They need 2 drivers to deliver to the same place???

Doesn't make sense. I hope I didn't get screwed on my Note shipment.

Now I'm torn. leave work to go home. I've got a swamped afternoon/evening. Not enough to really "play" with the phone. Might leave a few minute early just to plug it in to start a full charge, then LATE tonight when I'm back try to activate it.. or just do it in the morning.

Anybody get any OTA updates pushed once they activated?

perhaps if I went to a different VzW store, but the one near where I work, the guy was so clueless, I cant bring myself to go back in there. I seriously can't believe the goof's they hire. If I were corporate I would be embarrassed by some of those locations.

To these companies, competence is worth less than cheap labor. :banghead:
 
Fed ex did me a solid! ! !

I left a note saying to please leave my package and they did! I was so worried I would have to be there to sign for it.

Now the kicker, I have to bring my daughter to gymnastics and sit there for an hour before I can begin setting up this beauty!
