OK IM FINALLY DONE WITH THIS THEME,THIS ONE WAS A MISSION LOL BUT I GOT IT DONE.ITS ALMOST LIKE BIG RED BUT YOU WILL SEE THE DIFFERENCE(I HOPE LOL)AND THIS ONLY FOR BROKENOUTCONNECT ROM I HOPE YOU GUYS LIKE IT, AND HOPEFULLY WE COULD BRING MORE TO TABLE.

Just tried this theme and it looks amazing, however I seem to be having the same issue I was with the Big Red theme which is the stock music player force closing every time I attempt to go into landscape mode or hit the settings button while in the app. I could probably work around that by using another music player but seeing as how we have the stock one stuck on our status bars I figured I'd make use of it.

really?..... hmm I wonder if one of my apps or the pdroid/smooth scroll/throttle mod patch is causing a conflict with the theme. gonna try a few things, I'll post again if I get it resolved.
 
OK I tried doing a clean install (restored ZVA, booted, went back into recovery did a factory reset, wipe cache/dalvik and installed Broken Out) installed Beastcandy theme and I'm still getting force closes when I go into landscape view in the music player, but I can at least bring up the settings now, which gives me the option to turn off the stock music notification bar.

I'll go ahead and look for an alternate music player, the theme is too good to pass up over a minor issue like the one I'm having.

Did it work? If not I'll check on it tonight.
 
Up until he said that about the music controls in the pulldown I had never used it, then this morning I was messing with it and changed the Dolby setting, now mine does the force close thing too.

I am able to get into the stock music players setting menu now but when I turn the phone over and try to make the app go into landscape mode it force closes, also if I try to go into the settings menu while on the screen with the cover image of the song I'm playing the app will force close.

I found a nice little lightweight music player (Music Folder Player) and I kinda like that one better than stock so I'm using that as a workaround, but yea Mrpnut when you get a chance try opening the stock music app, play a song and then turn the phone (while still in the app) to the side to let it go into landscape mode and see if you have the same issue.

That's real interesting... I would usually open the app from the status bar too, maybe that has something to do with it?
 
He fixed it, works perfectly now....
Not sure if he's updated the op yet. If he hasnt I'm sure he'll post the fix really soon... He's made one really smoking theme with Beastcandy, mad props to mrpnut!:thumbup:

Nope, I had no idea... is that part of BO or built into the phone or what?

Thats good to know but ill probably keep using the app since I dropped my phone and jacked up the power button......barely touching it locks the screen now
