hey shiney, are you the moderator for this forum? we need to seriously get this place cleaned up bro... wayyy too many zvd threads right now, if anyone was to post something usefull/important, odds are it'll get lost in the cluster F*** we have right now... im not angry at anyone.. its just common curtesy man everyone thinks there problem is big enough for its own thread but then its not touched again after like 4 comments so it just becomes bloat, and iv'e seen the same questions like 7 times lol

i want to somehow let people know that flashing older roms on zvd is bad!!! doesn't matter if it works or not it is BAD!!! Dont do it!!! just be patient and wait for some roms because we got people phones dropping like flies in the past 2-3 days lol

and people need to understand 2 things..

1. just because it worked for him dont mean it'll work for you
2. the word 'testing' is called that for a reason.. if you brick your device, it's your own fault... means you failed ur test lol fat red F

i mean dont get me wrong i love testers.. these people are needed... but when your bricking your phone because your just impatient there is really no one else to blame but yourself.. lol and everyone here is always more than willing to help, but its hard to keep up with 20+ posts about the same damn thing... READ UP!!!!!

if anyone reads this i hope you dont think im mad at anyone or hate anything.. im just stating facts and i think people should be a lil more leaniant with the forum rules... patience is a virtue!!

and i know i posted a thread when i bricked my phone.. but i did research first!! my situation was uncommon in a way and the thread was useful to more than just me.. but it was my own fault and i dealt with it like a man. jus sayin... :D again no disrespect towards anybody i love all you guys and always make sure i can help anyone who needs it, theres just some things that need to be said..
 
Yea I know man :D Trust me Ahaha I have to read thru them all. We try not to merge specific problems with other specific problems because then....well they just make another post :D But yea man....Im on it.;)

haha no rush, but the sooner the better so we can actually start HELPING people and give them correct answers!! it only been like 2 days and we already encountered many many problems, but all can be fixed with patience lol

but for now that is the 1 piece of advice i have for those on zvd, if your trying to flash something and its not for zvd... than dont do it!!! lol simple as that... even if it works, its not working how it should be...

^^^+1 Yup, that's why i'm leaving it zvd stock at the moment. The improvements are worth the stock look to me. Patiently waiting for a ROM/kernel to test from one of our awesome devs. Maybe might Root and put ZVD Theme Phone Candy or Clear Bubble on there.

agreed!! i mean im no expert but i have an idea of what im doing on here and im still keeping stock zvd for a little lol, (of coarse i did a system pull and am currently working on ld-lg zvd :D just not sure if the boot.img someone posted works or not yet.. i forget his name but it was on one of mt's threads) and thanks to that person if it does work!!! i will find who he/she is and thank that person lol
 
is this suppose to be a full theme? or just the status bar? in the pic it shows a different lockscreen. I flash the theme on zvd and all i have that is themed is the status bar

Your Prolly just waiting on ZVD Kernel and PLague or its just cause you just did the update yourself This Morning or Last Night don't remember what you had said.

working on ld-lg now, just not sure about the kernel for zvd, i haven't tested yet so dont kno if wifi works or anything.. but ill put out a test tonight oif anyone is feeling risky tonite? lol
 
nice job bro ur on a roll I like that keep them coming, u need any testing im always available for any testing :D
