Root [THEME][CTMod3.68] Honeycomb Theme (06/27/12)

I put this together from files I pulled from my tablet, and a little bit of editing. It's based on Honeycomb's color scheme using mixtures of blues, purples, and black.

I've removed the boot animation to save on space. If you would like the boot animation and don't already have it, you can find it in the downloads at the bottom of this post. Just copy it to the root of your sdcard, then copy to /system/media and overwrite the bootanimation.zip in there.

Things that have been changed:
Icon and widget colors in the notification panel
Lockscreen jogtab/pattern unlocker
XperiaHome themed
Settings themed
Dialer, Contacts, MMS themed
HC-style toast notifications
HC-style clock widget
Font changed to ICS Roboto font
...think that's it

Note: The Honeycomb wallpaper I am using is located in /system/framework/framework-res.apk/drawable/default_wallpaper.jpg
Extract it with something like Root Explorer to your sdcard

How to install

Copy the zip to your SDCard
Boot into ClockWorkMod
Make a backup
Select "install zip from sdcard"
Select HC_Theme_LG_Marquee_*.zip
Select "Yes"
After it's finished, select "Go back"
Select "Reboot system now"

Speaking of lockscreens , is it possible for a theme, or a rom in general to change the default lock screen to something different like the ones miui provides?

Have you tried widget locker? They have tons of themes including miui. I have the ics theme running

Well I was wondering more because I would rather not have an app installed to change the lock screen and just change the default one permanently. I'm guessing its probably not possible though :(

Pretty sure you can modify some stuff with the /layout/xml files in framework-res.apk. I know you can do font colors and stuff. I haven't tried editing lockscreens yet, so I can't give you a definite answer, but it looks like alot of the layout is in the xmls.

Is there a way to gradient the clock colors like the batt? Or are we stuck to color code?
I think we're stuck. Think it's pretty much set in the CTSettings apk.
I still might change the icons a bit, I'm not happy with the data and signal icons mostly. They look too small to me and a little bit too dark. Maybe add a hint of glow around it to stand out. I also want to turn the signal icon sideways so it's not pointing the same direction as the wifi and will be easier to tell apart at a glance. I'm open for all suggestions :)

Probably will finish everything up and then release one more version when it's all done. I just wanted to get the basic blue/purple/black scheme down for now

Think I'm calling this one done. Updated links in the OP. Stuff changed since v1:

Removed boot anim and posted it separately to save space on the zip.
Finished XperiaHome
Fixed a graphic glitch with the expander icons
Changed background colors when pressing on icons and menu items
Turned signal sideways, brightened it up a nudge
Changed the pattern unlock path from white to transparent
Changed the lockscreen clock colors from gray to white (thanks Blood)

This looks cool. I tried v1 and it works, but when I try to apply v2 (boost) the network icons remain the same. Everything else seems to apply properly just the 3g/bars/wifi icons don't.

I'll have a look when I get off work today, I did a minor fix to systemui.apk last night to fix a missing pixel on the status bar.

This theme is hot man, was wondering if the volume bar will be themed also?
Sure, I'll look at it tonight

will.m, are the network icons the old ones I had (vertical ones) or do you mean they stay stock CTMod? I just flashed stock CTMod, then flashed the Boost version, and all of my icons changed as they should. No one else has mentioned it. Maybe you got a corrupted download? Try re-downloading it and check the MD5 to make sure it's complete. Try wiping cache and Dalvik also, and let the system boot back up.

Here you go jmedno...colored the volume bar and the icons for it. Both links updated in OP.

And thank you all :)

Hey sick00; just installed latest version ( with the colored volume bar ). For some reason, the messaging app is no longer installed. Not sure what happened but can you give me a link where I can download the apk? Also, can you recommend any other multi media messaging apps? I appreciate all of the work you put into this theme. So far it's the best one I've used.

Also, how do I get my clock in the upper right corner to change color; it's white right now.

Thanks man
Just updated the links in the OP, try downloading and flashing again. Should be good to go.

The clock color can be changed by going to Settings > CTMod settings > Clock settings > Choose clock color
