Sounds like issue with network connectivity rather than prob with theme.
Check APN settings that they're ok. Haven't experienced this kind of prob before even with odd basebands.

Can't access APNs at all. I restored 1.5 and mobile data worked fine. Restored Galax0 and same problem stays. Normal calling is ok. Perhaps is best to flash Galax0 again? A bit OT though...

Notification power widget is looking odd and its bg/text colors wont turn black...on top of that i got nosleep bug so don't know if I'm sticking around this time either. But if someone wants to tweak this further, be my quest but share the results also.
