Root Theme editing/ Statusbar Editing(Updated 6/25/2012:1 3G bars fixed)

This is not "too" high tech nothing more then copying and pasting files really, I created using UOT.

DISCLAIMER :
I TAKE ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSIBILITY TO WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR PHONE, IF YOU BRICK IT I'M SORRY BUT YOU DID IT WRONG. I DID THIS MYSELF WITH NO PROBLEMS

Here we can see the volume bar is blue, (I like mine blue) And the battery bar is the Gears of War Logo and when it is unplugged it has numbers to tell the percent:

As you can see in this one it is the GLOW and Scroll bar changed.. in particular it is blue again. also see the Battery again.... Charging:

In this I just did it so you can see the LOADING circle is blue there are many other options for that, just I like that.

If you like the above one Download this: framework-res.apk - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download

Step 1:
Put the framework-res.apk on your SD card root with your computer

Step 2: Then unplug your phone Move to Root explorer or something similar where you can access your /System/Framework folder

Step 3: Goto your SDcard and copy the framework-res.apk

Step 4: head back to the root of your phone, goto System then in System goto Framework and paste your "Framework-res.apk" into there.

It will over write the old one, The phone will restart, and then when it starts up it will have the things shown in this Screen Shots above.

DO NOT STOP IT AT THIS PART! IT MAY TAKE A MINUTE OR 2

For this one you need to do the above with this framework:
Before you do this, rename it framework-res by taking out the "_2"
The next will be a zip and therefore not have this problem.

For the systemui do the same as the framework but instead of /system/framework put it in /system/app

These are simple things, but I am trying to help you guys get things fun done. Sorry there is no way to flash them yet, or I would try to release a stock ROM with color to it, I'm new to most of this.

Nice work.

Whenever I get around to rooting my Elite. I'll be making my Blue Marble theme for this phone.

I guess CWM is still not working? (Have not read many posts since the Elite has been rooted. Camping trip and work trip has kept me away. Hopefully can catch up soon and root my phone.)
When they get CWM for our phone, it will be very easy to flash themes from UOT Kitchen.

BTW I enjoyed your Blue marble theme, I am putting it on my brothers phone tonight or w.e he gives me it back to work on.
I am still trying to get my signal bars to not be green. I can't seem to find them in the actual package or I'd change them manually

AHA! I found them!, I had to rename them manually though

Sprint names them all different
 
Yes the signal changes with the SystemUI so it would make sence sorry about the systemUi I will fix that when I get home
 
Hopefully I will fix everything tonight... We will see lol I think I know the problem I was having now it's just to fix it

It would be alot of work by hand, but if you wanted, you could do MOST of it in UOT, there are slight parts that have to be dont by hand, which is a lot or renaming and moving stuff
 
i pasted the framwork-res.apk from zte score on the elite and now all it does is stay at the virgin mobile boot animation making the noise what do i do any help at all

framework-res's are specific to a device. The only way I know possible to fix is to reflash the .tot from recovery.
This worked for one person on something different, hope it works for you.
What you do is goto recovery by holding down the volume down button, once you boot into recovery DO NOT FACTORY RESET! then plug your phone in and PRAY that it connects to LGNPST and reflash the .tot that you used to root the phone.

If this doesn't work then one thing I can think of are doing a factory reset at the recovery menu.. but that might/probably wont work.
I really suggest retrying the .tot and next time PLEASE don't use any other SystemUI.apk or framework-res.apk then the original.
