Root [THEME] GingerFusion3.9 *Bluetooth Fixed 1/26/2012*

what i did was reloaded GingerFusion3.9 on my sd card, wipe cache & dalvik, & reflashed it again & it worked. lastnite i did grab Shiney's deodexed apk. & flashed it last nite to work, but today i did it all over again & is working now.
 
Thanks a million for this post. I've been waiting for this to come up for over a month!!! It was really frustrating without this. Now I would like to pick your brain. I had the Ascend and the bluetooth phonebook worked flawlessly with my car and would transfer the contacts from my phone to my car's screen. I purchased the LG Esteem and with the stock ROM (also with your fix) the contacts menu is grayed out and unavailable. hence, only bluetooth audio is transferred. LG Esteem bluetooth profile is listed as providing only FTP, OPP. Any insight on having PBAP profile available?

I have a problem with my wifi I can't connect to my Internet, it either keeps saying connecting or obtaining ip address I don't know if it's the theme or the rom or my Internet I've also tried to connect to my friends Internet but it says the same thing and I can't connect please help ASAP...

I am on Gingersteem Extreme and have tried a few of the themes on here with no Wifi issues. Would suggest reset router...but make sure you are entering the correct password also.

+1 i thought i had issue when i realize i typed the wrong password. big fingers:p
 
I still have the same problem I'm going to reflash it and if it doesn't work then I'm just going back to stock

Sorry I'm still around! I'm also a themer for the Revolution and have a ton of work on my themes over there. I'm getting ready to bring 2 of my themes from the Revolution and port them to the Esteem. Plus update some stuff on GingerFusion as well.
 
Thanks for the reply! I understand you have other things going on, I was just curious what happened to you :p More themes sounds great. I really like your work.

Available bluetooth functions are dependent on both the phone and the car. For example, my girlfriends Motorola Atrix II has the same issue with my Hyundai, a fact that is documented in the bluetooth section of the Hyundai web site. My former phone (Nokia 6650) phonebook was supported by the car but the privacy button didn't work (again, documented on the website). Happy to report that both functions work just fine with my Esteem :)

Probably not the answer you wanted to hear, but I think you're stuck on that issue until you buy another car (another one of the 1,000,000 things to consider when buying a new car LOL). You may want to look at the website for your car manufacturer and see if they have a bluetooth support page.
 
Just installed the Black Plague ROM thinking I could use this theme because I love it, but I got stuck in a bootloop. :(
Recovered though....
I guess this isn't compatible...?
