Use "Rom toolbox" to change the FONTS ;) had the same problem :p but now i love this THEME :D
 
thanks for the good job. But i have a problem trying to install the htc keyboard. put the file in system/app. but when i am trying to use it, it says " has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" but it keep doing it , over and over . i have to switch back to lg keyboard

Just click and install like a normal apk

oh I see wat your talking about on the SUPERUSER app I never really need to use it no need but ill try to fix it tho :-)

Sorry mp, don't know what's causing the color clash then. Even wiped cache & dalvik before flashing. Gonna try re-downloading through my phone instead of laptop. Go through whole process again & see what happens.

Here's what i did to mine a few weeks ago. Part gingerfusion, part beastcandy. Only problem i am having is that the menu that pops up when pressing the soft key is the same color as the text and i cant see what it says till i actually press my selection.

Heres what happened to the menu when i did it myself... i cant seem to find the right file to fix it. :(

I thought i pulled all the menu images and changed what i thought it was... i will look again. Its not a transparent image, is it?
 
hmm.. changing 'menu_background_fill_parent_width.9' didn't work. Still can't see text on the menu. It's probably a tiny little png that I'm overlooking...

This is what I get for jacking around with an already good theme :D

you could decompile and compile the framework res. apk and changed the pop up menu color to black
 
please help, i followed a walk through tutorial on youtube from jbert1992 but with your link, now my status bar wont stop force closing
