Root [THEME] ICS for OA 2.3.20

Those "other" notifications are most likely app related, and not OS related m8. The only solution would be to change the notification area background. ;)

true true lol wow i completely forgot that, i even said that somewhere here before lol...

how can i get the ics battery o my status bar? can i just replace the pngS?

yeah just get them from an existing rom, or make your own using UOT Kitchen. decompile get all the battery png files and replace them for the ones on here

I GOT it:):)

One thing I noticed about this t
Theme, is that it changes all title icons to the settings icon.
Other than that, great theme.

Uninstalled Firefox beta after seeing the browser :D Also made the animations work better. I use Holo Locker as my lock screen and replace the stock camera with ICS Camera+ :D

P.S. I tried to change the default wallpaper but it didn't work so when you flash you won't have a wallpaper as your background. I'll provide an ics wallpaper to download.

Just extract the framework and overwrite the default_wallpaper.png to /res/drawable-hdpi/
recompile it, and it should be good to go.
You dont even have to decompile the framework (assuming you're using apk mgr) since it is a straight up png, and not a .9.png -- just extract, replace, recompile, test. ;)

Don't you mean mdpi?

the dafault wallpaper is actaully a jpeg image just and ive also noticed that the it is included in two other folders within the framework. also the ics image you have on the op should be resized to 640x480 (width by height)

I know what it is lol. And i was trying to figure out which dimensions to use for wallpapers. i just always use 1024 x 768 because it always fit well. But I'll do that

../system/framework/framework-res.apk/res/drawable-mdpi/default_wallpaper.jpg

if i remember right then flashing this zip causes one to not have a default_wallpaper. gives you a blank screen so unless Kage fixed the issue with later updates than getting it form the framework really cant be done. although one can find the wallpapers all over the internet so its not really a biggie

Yeah I never fixed that issue, and to add the default_wallpaper in drawable-mdpi is the original OA wallpaper. And that specific ics wallpaper is a common one so it shouldn't be hard to find.

_very_ easily found.

Again, just drop this in /system/framework/framework-res.apk/res/drawable_mdpi/
and you'll be good to go.

Or even better (since the theme link is a dropbox link) would be for KageBeast to do this, since it doesnt require decompiling -- just drag n drop.

btw. I always use 960x800 -- seems to work across most platforms.

So in the spirit of Christmas, I reworked the OA ICS theme. Hopefully this fixes the wallpaper issue (cant test it).

It was using the wrong update binary (being just a standard UOT flashable), and the flashing method was screwy (as is all UOT flashing methods).

I also updated the default_wallpaper with the stock ICS wallpaper.

KageBeast, feel free to redownload this and post it in the OP thread (just an FYI, AndroidForums will allow you to upload up to 10Mb zip files using the "attachment" form, so no need for dropbox.).

Cheers, and Happy Holidays.
