Root [Theme] INCredble REVOlution ~~ Based off Manup456's

I had a clear Genie Widget - now the background is black after applying the theme.
Running Virtuous 2.6, stock kernel.
I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but it won't let me uninstall (I had to push the apk to the phone to install in the first place, doesn't show up in applications list)
Any ideas? I'd love to get the clear look back...

I checked the original thread and can't seem to find a description of what the clean icons pack includes or what it looks like. Anyone using it have a screenshot to share?

Plan on putting this on top of 2.6 just as soon as I flash it tonight.

Your gonna have to find the original file and "adb push <name of .apk> /system/app/"

I just downloaded the zip and looked at them on my computer first.

I just downloaded the zip and looked at them on my computer first.

I have tried this and they look like blank, white squares for me. No image at all, which is why I asked. A comparison or screenshot of them versus stock or the "Dirty" set would be fantastic. Not just for me, but perhaps for inclusion in the rest of the screenshots for this amazing looking theme.

Maybe the Clean Icons file I downloaded was bad, because when I applied it I saw no difference in the icons.

I have the original file on the root of my sd, I installed using terminal emulator and the instructions on xda. I tried pushing the file again with terminal emulator but no go. I think I need to uninstall it first, but I don't know how if it doesn't show up in the applications list.

PS, I'm not versed in using adb, I just used step by step instructions from the xda forum that I got the file.

Thanks for the help in advance!

Have you tried opening them in GIMP or something similar that has a grey background instead of white so the white text of the icons shows up? That happened to me

I have a screen shot of what they looked like 3 weeks ago they might have changed though.

I have tried a few different programs. I downloaded the icons again, will give it another shot later today. Thank you for your screenshot. Looks very nice.

That is a awesome keyboard, how can I get it?

Sorry folks I am still a noob at this, if possible can someone guide on how to get the theme in the 1st thread and the keyboard in the second thread, I have been trying but can't seem to find the right one.
I am really liking the layout in the 1st thread, with the black/red keyboard.

Thanks In Advance.

Install the themed HTC_IME keyboard that comes with this particular theme. Should be a link to it in the original post, if not there is one on the XDA post (which is linked to in this post). It's an APK, copy it over to the SD card and install it just like you would any other APK.

Once you have it installed, go into Settings > Language and Keyboard. You will see the HTC_IME mod there, tick the box. Tapping the HTC_IME option will allow you to set up and customize this particular keyboard layout.

Once you are all done there, go somewhere that requires you to input text. I have used Handcent and the browser (not on the bar, but in a text box within the browser) and had success. I assume that any text box will work. Long tap it and it will bring up an option: "Input Method". Tap that and select HTC_IME from the list there.

There you go. You now have a very sexy looking black keyboard.

I have a couple minor complaints, but nothing that is a real dealbreaker. It looks excellent. If you want that font as well, you will need to install one of the font packs. Those can be found as easily as the keyboard.

SoCalMiles,

I hit another bug yesterday, with the red outlined text field that you can't type in when trying to reply to an exchange email in the "mail" app. I meant to take a screenshot, but forgot. It looked like the SMS problem that someone posted a screenshot of on the XDA thread shortly after you released this. I ended up reverting back, but I wanted to let you know.

My config if it matters to you:

virtuous 2.6
King BFS #2 kernel

^^^^ Thanks a million!
I followed the steps but I seem to still be having trouble with changing the colors

You have installed this APK: Free File Hosting Made Simple - MediaFire ?

You have changed the Input Method?

The keyboard should be themed the same as in the screenshot. If you are still seeing the default keyboard then we might have missed a step. Let me know if I can help, I hope you get it working. It looks pretty slick. =)

I did what the steps told me to do. I have been having tons of issues with with phone I don't why! I will download the APK file you told me, but their site is down now.

Uhm, what clock is being used for this theme that uses the system clock? Is there a way I can get it without installing the whole theme? I have flashed the transparent apps but didn't see the clock. If it is beautiful widgets or something like that then where is the skin to make it use the system font? I have a feeling when I get my answer I'm going to feel foolish but I'm a bit stumped here for some reason.

Edit: Never mind, found it. I feel about as silly as I thought I would.

P.S. Since I've been asked via private message what clock this is, I'll link it for anyone who doesn't know.
