NOTICE6.png

Make sure your on the MetroPCS Official 2.3.6 Update with *Root Access*
If you just installed the fresh batch of 2.3.6 Official Update Or Restored it
from a BackUp
... Reboot recovery and let it head to the Homescreen then reboot back into recovery and install the theme (if not your phone will sit at the samsung logo)! What do i mean by this.... if you restored a 2.3.6 back up from recovery, your suppose to let the device boot up fully (meaning to boot all the way to the lockscreen) then from there you can go back into recovery and flash the theme... Please follow instructions given or you will have problems.

Will this work on OA2.3 since its 2.3.6?

If my memory serves me right, OA has the same lock screen as 2.3.4? If so, then I would think not. But you could try it, but like killah said, backup your framework-res and sysui.

Sent from my SCH-R720

Killah decompile your framework again and open styles.xml in the values folder and change the max and min height of widget.seekbar and widget.progressbar.horizontal to 5.0

So, I flashed it exactly how it is directed andeverything works fine, I just have no settings D:

Lol what.....
Which rom you used this on .. it has to be 2.3.6 official (stock rooted) and you have to mount system...
I don't think it works on any other rom

I have the official Stock rooted, cwm and everything, but when I flash it everything on the theme works properly. I just have no settings ? :O I look in system/apps in Root Explorer and my settings are there just the theme takes it out for someone reason and I flashed multiple times to see if it was just an error but it consists... I'll try it out later when I get home I'll do it again from scratch.

That's what happened to me, also with the SGS3 theme, I'm gonna try and update it again with the upgrade tool

*update* didn't work...

im going to restore my phone back to stock and try....

Edit: The theme works fine... i just used the update tool and did the update then installed cwm and used kidallstar's root method and rebooted into recovery and mounted system and installed the theme then reboot and everything is working ...

for those who dont see the settings app...
just use root explorer and change the permissions and replace the settings.apk... (extract the JBBased2012.8.11 and take out the settings apk and replace it with the one you dont see ... change permissions)

as far as the settings.apk not showing.... i dont know anything about the status bar not showing or any force closing
