Sounds good, Cause this theme looks sick! are there any themes i can test out that are working for 2.3.6? cause im kinda new wnna just get the feel of things

Try wiping cache and davik cache..
You can try 2gigabyteSD's ics theme.

Think i found the problem....
when i first updated to 2.3.6 official using the updater tool... the only root method out was the kidallstar's method... i used his method and the root sticked... and i took the files from system and themed them...
now when i update to 2.3.6 with the updater tool i used PG's root method... it worked .. for like 5mins.... then quick reboot says my device isnt rooted... so i took the framework-res and systemui apk's from the system folder and used uot to just do a regular theme ... (meaning no apk tools or swapping & editing) and i mounted system and flashed it and rebooted... it didnt show the lockscreen it didnt show the status bar .... but showed the homescreen ... and then i started to force close everything....
Also PG's root method worked but lasted for minutes
Kidallstars root method lasted as long as you dont reset everything
This theme works ... but IDK... if its the root method... '

When you install 2.3.6 stock...
First you have to install the super user.apk he provided in the link...
Then go to recovery and flash the super user.zip file he provided and reboot ... go to super user and hit the menu button on your phone and click preferences and scroll down to su binary and click it... when it says update anyway hit it and wait

Ok i did exactly what you said and I am waiting, how long is it suppose to take beacause its been working for almost 20 min now

I already did it twice, but whatever, I installed Apex rom which already has rooted 2.3.6 and your theme worked. Thanks and btw nice theme

Just thought I'd let everyone trying to root Kidallstars method and getting stuck at gaining root access, go to settings on your phone, then applications, then development and make sure "USB Debugging" is enabled or else you'll be waiting forever.
