Root [[THEME]] LGSystem UI BLACK

Here's a System UI I modified for stock. It will turn your drop down notification drawer and status bar black and remove the grey. In system/app backup original LGSystemUI.apk by renaming it to LGSystemUI.apk.bak or copy it to an ext sd. Replace or add this one and change permissions to rw-r-r then reboot. It will most likely reset your wallpaper but you can replace it after reboot. If you like it PLEASE come back and hit THANKS...

Do I need to be unlocked and have a custom recovery?

Did you deodex the systemui? Or do we still need the odex?

Even if I didn't download your mod.... as long as a saw it I would thank.

Sorry. I've been meaning to try but I've been trying to get the new Google launcher to work. I believe its because I have root access. I'm not sure. Someone without root or that can unroot and root back with ease should try it without root.
 
Google launcher isn't working as of yet for us on stock. Im working on a fix.. I spoke with Phubu the other day on our old phone's forum, he has it working, but he is on custom 4.3..

Its working on my p769. I'm not technically on T-Mobile... I'm on Walmart family Mobile. They use T-Mobile or are owned by them. I'm not sure.


I'm rooted with a locked bootloader. I have zposed framework installed too. Don't know if that matters though.
I downloaded the zip, booted in to recovery, applied zip and restarted phone. And it has worked perfectly.

I will be trying this soon, will edit my post once I get to open it (present for Christmas and bday...) but def wanna say thanks for doing something different for this phone. I was hoping the support from the indie devs would be a little more but I'm learning and have a long way to go to be like Bobz, Playfulgod, Penguin...all those guys inspired me to learn more. Anyways, thanks again!

I went ahead and tried it, great work, i'll be using it for a while! Thanks for the hard work too.
 
Bob is actively here, PG is trying to get 10.1 working on the Lg Motion but was working on his G5 the last we spoke. I haven't seen Shabby around in a while but he tends to poke his head in every now and then...
