Yes it will.... use the first link. The metropcs version of the L9 is the ms769. Device needs to be rooted too.

Could you help me please. I have no idea what halpened. My status bar is gone and long pressing on home button wont bring up the recent apps anymore, i guess they work together?
I cant take screenshots anymore either

If you tried to use this system ui you'll have to find the one for your phone and replace it. Ask someone on your forum to upload a copy of it and move it the same way you did this one.
