That's the thing I miss the most being on stock too

Unless this messes with the firmware for the screen and all then the sensitivity and responsiveness of the screen will NOT be affected if you install a ZVB or ZVC ROM over the ZVD Update. The only thing you will be keeping afaik is the Baseband Version if you update to ZVD then install a ZVB or ZVC ROM.

i cant get this to flash on zvb. i put it in the ext sd card, the two folders, and when im in recovery theres no custom oroms

wat shinyside sayed dont unzip it if u downloaded it from ur phone just boot in to recovery and install zip from sd card then just flash it

i disagree...
the stock zvb & c roms are somewhat similar, d on the other hand has some changes made in bin, xbin, and lib folders. each of these folders hold important files for how the rom operates... which is why the install script has to be re-written for upcoming zvd roms
and there are some noticable changes made for zvd update (im not saying these changes fixed anything or not lol) but it might explain why people were saying it seems more snappy and smooth please dont think im tryind to be a dick lol im a cheerful guy i just want to let ya guys kno

after reviewing some of these lists (thank yo guys ) i feel i need to do a complete overlook at this thind... so instead of updating this lil thing and that lil thing im opening this whole sucker up and starting over so zvd is gonna be a 1.0 when you see it ill put out some tests tho for you guys lol

Oh no no no drifta, i totally understand what you are saying. I wasnt saying that it didn't fix anything. What I was saying was that if you end up updating to ZVD SW then installilng a ZVB rom then you arent really running anything ZVD are you? And what I meant in the above post was updating to ZVD then installing a ZVB or ZVC rom will render the ZVD update useless UNLESS ZVD altars the firmware because then the software is all ZVB or ZVC and not ZVD, correct? I could be wrong though so correct me if I am. Like I have said before, I am an altaring guy and not too much a Create From Scratch Guy anymore(Droid Incredible Will PROBABLY Be My Only "From Scratch" Device).

lol sorry no you are correct, the framework itself doesn't seem to be altered.. its just other files.. so yeah basically if you are on zvd but flash zvb.. ur on zvb.. your phone is physically on zvb, but mentally its zvd.. not sure if that makes sense lol but you can still correct it by flashing zvd without updating and re rooting... (should be able to)
buuuuuut... im not sure how lg update tool will look at it.. if it only reads build prop, it might actually update you again if on a zvb rom lol i cant prove this tho..

Also, there is another App called My Back Up Root as well. I had a bad experience with Titanium Backup (Yah the odd person that does) So I was told this was another option as well =)

first test will probly be put out late tonight or early tomorow.. but i haven't 'added' any requests yet.. i literally grabbed the stock rom and started from scratch.. (but some things i did keep)A whole New Theme for ZVD.?? That should be good
