I don't mean to sound nooby but, does this work with BrokenOut? And if it does, do I wiped cache and flash it? Will all my applications still be on my phone?

Any zvd rom. So if your on zvd than yes. I did not wipe anything and it came out fine. Wipe cache if you wanna make sure.
And aslong as you don't wipe data, your apps will be safe.

that my friend is literally as easy as flipping your light switch on in your room lol

decompile framework, in the values folder is an xml called 'bools'

in that xml you will see a item in the list called like screen off animation true, just replace true with false and there you have your crt animation lol already pre-built into the OS for some reason lol

not exactly from scratch lol im just pretending i am.. i kept all the images and i will of coarse fix them up later to match, but i started all over with the xml files.. re-did all of them. for every app in the theme. lol almost done, still want to see what mods i can add before i start worrying about image files yet..

dude how the hell are you so awesome at this? AWESOME theme!! i have a few questions about how you accomplished a few things in here.

First...how did you get swype to clear in the dropdown menu? did you pull it from a cm7 rom?

second...how in gods name did you get the music and download provider colors to change in the dropdown? I downloaded the Google music app from the market and totally removed the stock music app from the rom and the text color when playing music stayed blue???????? wtf? I have never been able to successfully change the text color in download provider or music and compile without an error.

third...whats that crazy circle thing doing in the dropdown when im downloading something?? lol did you do that on purpose?

oh and i have one problem...lol...i use ADW EX and when i go into the launcher settings the background is transparent so when i click on something and another window comes up i can still see the previous one behind it...so i just see text on top of text on top of text the more windows i open. I wouldn't expect you to change your whole rom because i am using a different launcher but i would like to know how i can fix it myself??

to answer your first question about swipe.. this is how.. [HOWTO]Implement Swipe to Remove Notification - xda-developers lol

second.. for downloads just need to decompile downloadproviderUI.apk and edit statusbar_expanded xml
same thing with music.. lol

third.. i dont know.. that was an accident a while ago and have no idea how the hell i did it but its not supposed to do that lol

4th, to change that you decompile framework, then in values folder open colors.xml and change black from this #70000000 to this: #ff000000 and you will have your normal black background back

there no actual background file for the apps list, it just an xml file with set color value as black, which is why i changed black(#ff000000) to transparent (#80000000) but for contacts and stuff im sure it's a similar set-up.. but when you do that it gives you issues like what you experienced with your launcher.. so it's tricky.. some things you can alter and some you cant.. once i find out how to do it with just the launcher i will put that value back to normal so people wont experience that issue.. lol


and yeah for the music thing im not sure.. it's all i did anyway.. maybe the app had itself set at blue nyway lol or maybe it just uses the default settings for rom which is best!!
