Root {Theme} Neon Red Gingerbread for Broken Out

Yeah i am redesigning the statusbar icons all of them myself...just not in paint ;-) i have fixed the 4g now and still got a bunch more to do...im changing all the cyan press highlights in the menus to red all the dialog outlines to red and as many menu icons to red as i can...its alot. So maybe mid-end of next week i can have this done for you all! :-D

Looks nice! Do you plan on theming the dialer?
 
Just wanted to give an update and how things are looking with a quick screenshot! I think its smooookin! (yeah sorry for the bad 'the mask' pun...lol) ;)

P.S. Yes thats transparent ;) It is unfortunately hard to see on a bright wallpaper! lol

the mas is a great movie!!! lol so that was not a bad pun at all haha
 
Ok so I took a break from the theme to play around with some ideas I had for the dialer (thanks mrpnut). So this is what I am playing around with let me know if you like! ;)

It looks alot better on the phone but its basically going to be shaped dial pad numbers with neon red numbers and text based buttons on the bottom with a (Samsung Galaxy S ;)) motherboard in the background.

Hey just wanted to let anyone who is following this thread know that after seeing some of the awesome themes that have been rolling out for broken out I went back to the drawing boards on the statusbar and I went with a more simple design BUT the statusbar icons on the other hand i felt were plain before and are ALOT more graphical and colorful! They are all one of a kind 'read' you will not find them in rom toolbox or uot kitchen...for the most part anyway. I am in love with the icon for vibrate...you guys may recognize it when you see it and the download/install icon albeit on accident came out awesome! ;) But anyways Im not posting any pic now because I only have a little bit more to do in the system i have the dialer next to finished and the messenger as well and its looking very good to be released in the next 2-3 days so my next post should be the release!

Sorry yeah it will likely be later tonite or *****row on the release. This is flashable theme for those with the broken out rom it will not work in adw. Get yourself rooted flash broken out rom in clockwork recovery the youll be able to flssh this over broken out. =)

Yeah, I am in BrokenOut. Just not real clear what a theme is really for :o. I probably do some checking out in the root forum before asking crazy questions LOL

A Theme will usually modify many things like statusbar icons the statusbar itself and other user interface objects. It will not make changes to the operation of your phone or anything like that it is merely 'eye candy' for your chosen ROM
 
:cheers:This is freakin' awesome. Love the boot animation & the effects on the screen changes. Question, I'm using this on a test phone. Don't know how it will work on my usable phone yet, but what will it do to a GO Launcher? Will it affect that program any?

lol, no it wont affect go launcher go contacts go sms or go locker the only way you will see my theming for the dialer and sms and lock screen is by using the stock ones...I actually made them so I didnt have to have 500 apps just to theme my phone! ;)

That's cool. I like red, but my favorite color is blue. Would love to see a blue theme with your same designs.
 
Just put this badboy on my useable phone...really cool dude:D I like what you did to the keyboard also. I use big buttons & it even changed the style of that. I like, I like
