I don't even use this theme anymore (switched to Bugless Evolution), but I've got it downloaded for BB 0.5 just in case I want to switch back.

Thanks for such a great theme, I had it before with you ROM and it this one is just as good if not better! Thanks for all your hard work!
 
thanks fab! is it either or with the links? i installed the first link and realized it didnt have the battery percentage... soo i did the second one, now i have the battery percentage but the notification bar on top went back to white, making it hard to read the time and date...

Yup, it's either/or. To get back to your standard notification bar, you'll probably need to reflash BB 0.5 and then reflash the theme.
 
Loving the new set up...phone is running great...but what is the best launcher out right now? And any themed ones out there?
 
The best launcher FOR ME (as always, YMMV), is LauncherPro. There's a themed version in the Bugless Evolution thread that doesn't look bad with this theme at all.
 
Yeah Fab... GREAT work! The black on grey in the calendar is the only deficiency I can find. Just a small enhancement that needs be made ;-) Everything else is very well done. Thanks for all of hard work.
 
Fab, NexTheme looks - FABULOUS - as usual... many thanks to you for putting out such fantastic work...

One suggestion... it would be nice for text messaging to match the color scheme you have for the pull-down status. The same for Facebook and Twitter widgets. Other than that, everything looks absolutely amazing!!

Not to take anything away from Fab's great work as always....I posted a version of NexTheme in my Bugless Theme Pack here: http://androidforums.com/droid-roms/172574-theme-pack-bugless-theme-collection.html

My version includes the calendar font color fix as well as theme versions of the newest Google Search Widget, Facebook, and Twitter apps. I also threw in a themed MusicMod 1.8 for good measure.

Back in the 2.1 days I used Fabs NexTheme port exclusively. He actually inspired me to do my own ports. Working on NexTang for BB V0.5 as we speak!
 
Hey Fab, Im having a problem, that with when I install this it breaks Petes optional adjustment to put the stock lighting levels on the phone back. And when I try to resinstall the Lighting fix back over this, it messes up the notification bar portion of the theme. They are conflicting with each other somehow, wondering if there is a fix for that?
 
Jester i have the same problem as you. Apply the stock brightness fix and it puts the notification bar back to stock. Reapply the theme and i lose the stock brightness fix.

Fab can you help here, might need to update the theme with the new fix.
 
It's because the brightness hack and fix are implemented in the framework-res, and he only provides them without a theme.

I'll try theming the fix file tonight.

I believe all you need to do is take the resources.asrc file from the back-to-stock auto brightness fix zip file and insert it into your themed framework-res.apk.

UPDATE: I just confirmed with Pete that my statement above is correct -- inserting the resources.asrc into your themed framework-res should be a lot easier than re-theming Pete's fix file!
 
Awesome, cant wait for you to have it up Fab, you are the man dude. I love your theme and especially your dedication to keeping up with the forums and anything that comes up with it.
 
So, uh, I can't find where the brightness fix file is located. Can someone please link it?

Okay, sorry it took a little while! Starcraft II is very, very, very distracting.

The calendar fix for white text and default autobrightness frameworks can be found in the 2nd post. Enjoy!

Is there a possibility to skin some of the items you listed above black? Like the calendar, SMS, Talk and those sort of apps that are bright white background? Would be nice if they more closely matched the settings menu and other black background apps since it's easier on the eyes, especially in the dark.
 
Just installed over the latest version of Pete's BB and I'm having serious issues. In "About phone" for "Model number" it simply says, "Droid." Also, a bunch of apps are missing and it won't connect to the android Market. It just says, "No matching content in Android Market," and when I go to downloads it says, "No downloads from Android Market." I can connect to the web and I'm connected to my home network just fine.
Very concerned...never had any problems with NexTheme.

Go into phone settings and select "Applications" and then "Manage Applications". Next goto the "All" tab and scroll down to "Market". Click on Market. Press the "Clear Data" button. Your market is now fixed. Its a BB issue, not NexTheme. Once you do this it wont revert back.
