ok i 1clicked and now my theme is not working right. keeps dropping nav buttons at the bottom. any way what do i need to do here. will a factory reset wipe out the theme?

What theme? What are you running for software?

It doesn't sound like it's stock to me so you probably have a custom ROM. If that's the case just re-flash the ROM and it will remove the theme and you can start again.
